Big Shot Bun Company was created from a belief that the most meaningful imagery comes from a clear creative vision — where photography, filmmaking, and every visual detail work together with intention.
Behind the company is Nicole, a Creative Director, photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist with more than two decades of experience across photography, film, design, and creative production.
Before focusing on weddings, Nicole built a career creating imagery across the worlds of entertainment, editorial, commercial production, and visual storytelling. That background shaped an approach rooted in composition, anticipation, and the ability to create images that feel both considered and immediate.
Nicole’s creative foundation was shaped through years of working across different forms of visual media, including time studying under renowned photographer David LaChapelle in Los Angeles.
Those experiences brought together a deep understanding of light, movement, composition, and the relationship between a subject and the camera. Today, that perspective informs every wedding commission — from the quiet moments before guests arrive to the energy of a celebration unfolding in real time.
Weddings are filled with moments that cannot be recreated. The atmosphere of a room, the emotion of a conversation, the movement of a dress, the anticipation before a ceremony — these details exist for only a moment.
Nicole approaches each celebration with a balance of preparation and observation: creating a thoughtful visual plan while allowing space for the unexpected moments that make each wedding unique.
Big Shot Bun Company brings together photography and filmmaking under one creative direction, creating a cohesive collection of imagery that reflects the experience as it happened — not just how it appeared.
