Inside the historic mairie, the American bride and French groom stood alongside their immediate families and wedding party as they were legally married—an intimate, meaningful moment rooted in tradition. As they exited, both fathers raised glasses in a double champagne toast on the steps, a joyful tribute to two families and two cultures joining as one. From there, the celebration took a relaxed turn: a short walk to one of the couple’s favorite neighborhood bars for pizza and drinks, laughter spilling into the Paris streets as their marriage officially began.
The festivities then moved south to Pézenas in the South of France, where friends gathered at the romantic Château de Roquelune for a full wedding weekend. A warm welcome dinner set the tone, followed by a breathtaking wedding day that unfolded with a four-hour cocktail celebration in the château gardens. In a moment that delighted the traveling American guests, the groom—performing with his band—serenaded his new in-laws, blending heritage and heart in the most personal way.
